Google Glass resurrected for the business

Google has learned the lesson. Nearly three years after the shattering failure of his glasses, the company relaunched Google Glass on Tuesday. This time, the Californian company does not target the general public but the professionals.

Despite the mockery of Saturday Night Live and the bad buzz of "glassholes", Google has continued to quietly test its glasses connected to fifty companies such as Boeing, General Electric or Volkswagen. "Given the positive feedback from these test customers, we are going to offer Glass Enterprise Edition to more companies," the California group said.

  Boost productivity.

The design has not fundamentally changed but the glasses are lighter and offer better autonomy. Above all, they have a more powerful processor and an eight-megapixel photo sensor.
Google puts a lot of emphasis on the hands-free aspect. In a Boeing video, employees consult technical diagrams while connecting circuits and using voice commands. Employees of the DHL carrier, they are guided to move faster in the hangar.
